For Multotec, we engineered the Wisetec system to enhance mineral processing reliability. We developed modular C++/FreeRTOS firmware for ESP32 smart sensors, enabling predictive maintenance and real-time insights. The solution features over-the-air (OTA) updates for both firmware and the custom Angular front-end. Integrated with a ThingsBoard backend, it delivers advanced telemetry normalization and robust device management, directly boosting production uptime and efficiency for their global mining clients.
We developed the Watchdog Home Monitor, a complete IoT system for detecting water leaks, power outages, and climate changes. Our scope covered the entire stack: power-efficient C++ firmware for the ESP8266 with an async WebSocket server, a self-contained AngularJS onboard UI, a NodeJS backend, and a user-friendly PHP dashboard. We provided full support from circuit design to final deployment, delivering a robust, market-ready solution for remote home protection.
Bytenana partnered with agricultural tech innovator Itri Corporation to develop their “Hawk-Eye” system, a cloud platform for real-time remote crop monitoring. We engineered a scalable solution that processes and analyzes image data, providing farmers with crucial insights for irrigation and plant health. Itri’s CEO praised our ability to “turn what I needed into code.” The system’s impact was immediate, with one client remarking they wished it had been available 20 years ago. This successful engagement highlights our ability to deliver complex, on-time solutions.
We took over the bug-ridden GenoStories legacy project, performing critical fixes that enabled its successful publication on both the Google Play and Apple App Stores. The app preserves family history through social features like a timeline, live streaming, and shareable vaults. We are now preparing for Phase 2: a complete rework for scalability, featuring a new custom payment gateway, deep integration with Ancestry.com with app’s Family Tree and also an AI Chatbot!
For NESS Fertigation, we replaced their Thingsboard dashboard with a powerful, custom-built web portal to manage their advanced IoT system. The new platform offers enhanced control over pumps and sensors with complex routines, alerts, device management, and detailed reporting. Built with React and NestJS, the portal successfully connects with real-world valves, delivering sophisticated and reliable automation for modern agriculture.
Our project was a success in updating the client’s complex webGIS by creating a web scraper that regularly updates the existing webGIS based on Mapbox GL, nodejs, PostGIS, and Ember framework. Contribution to Client’s Goal: To achieve the client’s goal, we began by updating the source links with our GIS team (zoning, parcels and construction permits in Houston and Austin MSA). We have also created our own domain and built an AWS server for testing. The Development team then built a scraper using Python and node.js.
