Our project was a success in updating the client's complex webGIS by creating a web scraper that regularly updates the existing webGIS based on Mapbox GL, nodejs, PostGIS, and Ember framework. Contribution to Client's Goal: To achieve the client's goal, we began by updating the source links with our GIS team (zoning, parcels and construction permits in Houston and Austin MSA). We have also created our own domain and built an AWS server for testing. The Development team then built a scraper using Python and node.js.
